Bill graduated from Arvada Senior High School in Arvada, Colorado in 1985. He joined the United States Air Force in 1988 and was trained as an Aircraft Mechanic. He was assigned to work as a Crew Chief on C5 Galaxy jet aircraft, stationed in Dover Delaware and traveled as a flying aircraft mechanic during Desert Storm.
While stationed at Dover Air Force base Bill started working part time at Towery Foreign Cars where he learned to repair and restore British cars. While at Towery Foreign cars Bill was trained and became responsible for rebuilding all the 1800 cc engines used in MG B cars. While at Towery Foreign cars he also helped Glen Towery with V8 conversions in MG B’s.
After leaving active duty Bill joined the United States Air Force Reserves where he still serves as a Master Sergeant section chief in the Isochronal Inspection Docks. As a Section Chief he manages 45 men and women who perform detailed annual inspections on the C130 Hercules Aircraft.
After leaving active duty Bill was hired at Marksville Ford, in Marksville, La. While working for Ford Bill was sent to multiple schools where he achieved level of Master Technician. In 1994 he moved back to Colorado and went to work at local Ford Dealers.
In 1996 Bill moved to down to Colorado Springs where he opened an independent Automotive repair and service shop. He specialized in general automotive repairs. In 1999 He had an offer to sell his shop and at the same time an offer to manage a service department for a Mercedes Benz and BMW dealer in Louisiana. Bill acquired extensive knowledge of European cars while managing this dealership.
In 2005 Bill moved back to the Denver area where he went to work for a local European dealership as a Service Manager. While at this dealership Bill made some very strong contacts in the European automotive service market and gained some very invaluable Audi and Volkswagen experience.
Bill opened Ahrens Automotive Services, LLC in October of 2008. Ahrens Automotive Services, LLC specializes in European vehicles with emphasis on Audi, Volkswagen and Volvo. Ahrens Automotive Services has invested extensive resources to be able to offer dealer level services to our customers.

Sherry and Bill have been married since 1989 and have 2 children. Sherry is a mortgage loan officer and helps Bill with all the bookwork and customer services. Sherry has started to manage all the advertising and marketing for Ahrens Automotive Services.

Aaron previously owned RX Automotive where they specialized in Saab automotive repairs. Aaron was at RX Automotive for 18 years and owned it for 10 years. Aaron’s extensive knowledge of Saab has been of great benefit to our customer’s at Ahrens Automotive Services. Aaron’s extensive knowledge of the automotive service industryenables him to offer superior customer service. He prides himself on the ability to offer outstanding service and advice.

Jeremy is a ASE Master and Audi certified Technician with a knowledge of most makes and models. He graduated from NASCAR Technical Institute in 2003, and was the top student in his class. He received the ABK award for his perfect attendance. He then attended and graduated from the Audi Academy in late 2003. He grew up working on vehicles as hobby, so natuarlly chose to be a automotive technician as his career. His strong points are electrical diagnositcs and repair, systems communication and networking, and an expert in advanced engine diagnostics. During his off time he enjoys snowboarding, snowmobiling and occasionally inner tubing in the winter, he also enjoys mountain biking and mountain boarding in the summer but always enjoys the company of friends and family. Jeremy’s long term goals would to inventually manage Ahrens Automotive Services.

Dane graduated from Wyoming Technical Institute in September of 2001. He started working at a Cadillac dealer until he saw an advertisement showing Audi's implementation of the C.V.T. transmission. Knowing the historical difficulties of this concept, he wanted to be a part of ground breaking, cutting edge technology. He graduated from the Audi Academy in 2002.7 years ago Dane became a certified ASE Master Technician with a L1 Advanced Level Engine Specialist rating. His specialties include convertible top concerns, manual transmission rebuilding and advanced engine diagnostics. When he is not at work, he enjoys running at the gym and keeping up with his studies where he is pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering. |
